This project investigates two types of electrical circuits:
Total resistance:
Rtotal $=100+100=200 \Omega=100+100=200 \Omega \mathrm{R}($ total $)=100+100=200 \Omega$ Current: $\mathrm{I}=\mathrm{V} / \mathrm{R}=9 / 200=0.045 \mathrm{~A}$
Voltage across each bulb:
$\mathrm{V}=\mathrm{I} \times \mathrm{R}=0.045 \times 100=4.5 \mathrm{VV}=\mathrm{I} \times \mathrm{R}=0.045 \times 100=4.5 \mathrm{~V}$
Result: Lower voltage → dim light

Total resistance: $1 / \mathrm{R}=1 / 100+1 / 100 \Rightarrow \mathrm{R}=50 \Omega$
Current: $\mathrm{I}=9 / 50=0.18 \mathrm{~A}$
Voltage across each bulb: $\mathrm{V}=\mathrm{I} \times \mathrm{R}=0.18 \times 50=9 \mathrm{~V}$ Result: Full voltage → bright light
